CLEAR BANDAGE HEALING INSTRUCTIONS
If you wake up the next morning after the appointment and your bandage has a significant puddle of fluid in it, you will need to change your bandage at that time. If there is a small amount of fluid, that is fine, it will soak back into your skin over the next day. In order to change your bandage, first wash your hands, then remove the current bandage. wash your tattoo with antibacterial soap and rinse. Let it air dry. Place the new bandage that I gave you onto the tattoo, being careful to cover the entire tattoo with at least about an inch overhang around the edges.
Leave your bandage on for 5-7 days UNLESS you are experiencing redness and irritation from the adhesive. If this is happening to you, remove the bandage early and proceed to the non-bandaged healing instructions.
After 5-7 days, remove the bandage and make sure you wash the tattoo with antibacterial soap at least once a day and apply lotion at least 2-3 times a day as needed. Do not let the tattoo dry out and get crusty and scabby.
NO BANDAGE HEALING INSTRUCTIONS
After your tattoo session leave plastic wrap on for around 4 hours then take the wrap off and wash it with the recommended soap, pat dry with a clean paper towel, and apply a thin laver of the recommended lotion. Please make sure to go to bed in clean sheets.
After the first day of your new tattoo begin washing your tattoo twice a day, patting it dry with paper towels, and applying lotion. Apply lotion at least 2-3 times a day as needed. Do not let the tattoo dry out and get crusty and scabby. Do this for 1 week, and then decrease the washing to once a day for the second week. Continue to use lotion to keep the tattoo moisturized.
